A couple of weekends ago, I was lucky enough to attend a hostessing event put on by RewardStyle in San Francisco. And in lieu of writing a typical recap of the day, I wanted to share with you a diary-style post instead! Read on for a play-by-play of this amazing day spent in San Francisco!
Had to make a quick stop at one of the cutest coffee shops EVER, Saint Frank’s! Delish.
Impromptu photo shoot on Marina Blvd to capture some shots of this amazing Chic Wish dress. Oh and if you can’t already tell by the photos the wind was out of control!
Off to pick up the ah-dorable Stephanie Danielle from The City Blonde! Full disclosure: I may or may not have made an outfit change in the car (anyone following my Snapchat or Instagram Stories got a sneak peek at this).
My first pair of heels were killing me, so I made a quick shoe change. I ended up loving this back-up pair even more than my first choice, so it worked out perfectly. Phew!
Off to the RewardStyle Event! The event was at The Cheese School, and just outside of the entrance was the most Instagram-worthy set up. It was so cute, we had to stop and take a bunch of shots.
To say the RewardStyle team nailed it with the décor is an understatement. If I could have moved in, I would have.
During the first segment of the event, we got a lesson on the best food in the world – cheese! We learned how to pair cheese with wine, what cheese to use as an appetizer, and what to look for when it comes to taste. If you’re ever in SF, be sure to stop by – I learned so much!
My favorite part of the day was the lesson on floral arrangements. The piece of advice that stuck with me was the elbow rule, which means that flower arrangements shouldn’t be higher than your fist when setting your elbow on the table (this makes it easy for your guests to see each other across the table). We also got to make a super-simple bouquet to take home at the end!
Once both classes were finished, I was able to mingle with Ariana Lauren from Fashion Born, Latisha Springer from The Girl in The Yellow Dress, and Sarah Tripp from Sassy Red Lipstick (just to name a few)! If you don’t already follow these amazing ladies, you totally should.
I had a blast at the event, but was ready to go home to my boys! Thank you so much to RewardStyle for hosting this amazing event and to Andrea Lowry for being my personal photog for the day. I can’t wait to attend another RewardStyle event soon!
