If you follow me on Snapchat or saw this Instagram post, you may be wondering what all of my recent cryptic messages have been about.
After a whole lot of soul searching, I have decided to leave my job at Roxy. This was hands down one of the toughest decisions I have ever made, but I knew in my heart that now was the time to take a leap of faith and focus solely on my blog and my family (FYI I am not pregnant).
While I am super-excited about this new adventure, I would like to thank Roxy and Quiksilver for everything they’ve done for me for the last 8 ½ years. I am forever grateful for each and every opportunity I was given within the company, and will miss all of the amazing friends I have made along the way.
I would also like to thank you, my readers, for your endless support, love, and encouragement.
I am so excited to focus 100% of my energy and attention on Whiskey and Lace, and can’t wait for you all to see what I have up my bow-adorned sleeves. Mark and I also have some fun plans in place, so be sure to stay tuned on some exciting projects I know you’ll love.
Lastly, there’s nothing I love more than hearing from you. So if you love something, tell me! If you hate something, tell me, too! I want my blog to be a place that you are excited to visit – a place where you can learn, laugh, and get inspired.
I am excited to have you all along for this new journey. I have never felt happier and more alive, and I can honestly say it’s because of you.

Good for you! I personally know how hard it is to leave your job, as I left mine last month to stay at home with my son. Slowly working on my blog but is hard right now with a four month old. I find it hard to balance between taking care of my son and working on the blog with his naps being so short. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! ????
Awe thanks Lindsey! It’s definitely extremely hard to juggle it all. Some of the best advice I have is to be in the moment, where ever you are. If you have an hour to dedicate to your blog be there, dedicated, 100%. If you are with you baby, be there, 100% engaged. I find that I am way more productive with that mindset. Trust me though, it isn’t easy! I will try and do a blog post in the near future with some more detailed tips on how I juggle my day to day soon. I hope that helps love and thank you so much for your support on my blog! I wish you nothing but the best! xo
Oh wow!!! Congrats. I do a kinda similar job to you and what you are now doing is what I only dream of!!! I love your style and will follow along on your endeavours. Thank you for the inspiration xxx
