Most of you already know I love a good excuse to throw a party – especially when it involves girlfriends, yummy treats, and of course, champagne! To kick off Valentine’s Day a little early, I invited some of my closest friends and sister-in-laws over for a Galentine’s Day dessert party. We spent the day sipping on delicious libations, snacking on sweet treats, chatting, and of course, making cute Valentine’s Day cards for the ones we love.
The décor was simple and worked well with my existing home style. I did the floral arrangements myself, opting for pretty pink and light green blooms. I picked up all of the crafting supplies at Paper Source, and rented the beautiful table and garland from Rustic Romance Vintage Rentals (obsessed!). The adorable cookies (which made the best photo props, btw!) were given to me by my friends at Sweet Bake Shop, and pies, cupcakes, and the cake were from Sift Dessert Bar (the best bakery in town!), and Whole Foods. In order to capture all the fun, I enlisted the help of one of my fave photographers, Andrea Lowry, who did a beautiful job snapping shots of the girls and the details.
For my outfit, I went totally girly and paired this adorable tulle skirt by the one and only Blisstulle with a chambray top and some stilettos. My girls and I had so much fun, we’ve decided to make this a new yearly tradition! Do you have any special traditions with your girlfriends? I’d love to hear them!
