My dear friend (and Austin’s nanny since he was 3 months old!) Katie, is pregnant with her first little girl and I couldn’t be more excited for her. To celebrate, I hosted a boho baby shower on her 3-acre farm (complete with wild ducks and chickens!).

Inspired by these adorable invitations by Kelli Murray, I opted for a rustic/vintage theme which fit perfectly with the scenery. For décor, I rented some amazing pieces from Rustic Romance Vintage Rentals. When it came to flowers, I worked with City 205 to create beautiful garlands from real eucalyptus trees from Katie’s farm. Whole Foods made the food aspect easy – I simply ordered what I wanted and transferred everything onto matching platters and cake plates. This was a super cost-effective way to plan a party – especially because we scoured the vintage glass plates from the Salvation Army for 25 cents a pop and borrowed Katie’s grandmother’s china and silverware to tie it all together.

Last but definitely not least came the party favors. Because Katie loves to garden, I got the idea to hand out little seed packs to guests. Everyone commented about how personal they were and especially loved the “all things grow with love” sign. The day turned out perfect and I can’t wait to meet baby Georgia soon.
