Sweet Baby Girl Baby Shower

A couple of weekends ago, some of my closest family and friends came together to celebrate this sweet new baby girl that is about to be in our lives. When I found out I was having a girl I knew I wanted to have the most girliest and sweetest shower to document this special time in my life. Marks sister generously opened up her home and hosted just that! The theme behind this shower started to take shape when we decided that we would hang a few of the dresses my late grandmother made for me when I was a baby. Some of you may know that I have been craving sweets throughout this entire pregnancy. With that in mind, I knew there needed to be a dessert table and there was no better company to pull it off than Michelle Marie’s Patisserie. To say they nailed it would be an understatement! They included the most decadent cakes, pink eclairs, macaroons, and the cutest sugar cookies (some even had candied rose petals)! If you are ever in need of something sweet and are local to Sonoma County you must go to Michelle Marie’s! You won’t be disappointed.   We all know that flowers are hands down one of my most favorite things in the entire world! I am a big believer that when it comes to flowers, the more the better! Lucky for me, Ada from The Blooming Studio (based in the east bay area) exceeded all my floral dreams with the florals she created! I literally cried seeing them all come together. She included my favorites: peonies, garden roses, dahlias, and poppies. She even made an Instagram wall for photo opportunities! This girl has a talent when it comes to floral arrangements and believe me, I am a tough critic when it comes to blooms. Now what is a party without wine?! Even though I couldn’t get my drink on, all of my guests raved about how yummy the Fleur De Mer Rose was! It was over 100 degrees the day of this shower, so it was not only delish, but it was refreshing, too.

Another detail that helped tie the shower together was the cute signage that was made by Poptarts and Peonies. I absolutely love how simple and sweet these 3 signs turned out. The gal behind the brand has an Etsy page, too, so if you’re looking to order something for yourself, be sure to reach out.

All in all, I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect, love-filled baby shower. I know that someday this baby girl will look back and feel so blessed to have such a warm welcome into the world!
