My Visit To Juice Beauty

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to stop by the Juice Beauty headquarters (Gwyneth Paltrow is the brand’s creative director!) to meet founder Karen Behnke. The experience was one I will never forget!

After becoming pregnant with her first child at age 40, Karen found the need to find healthy skincare solutions that were able to deliver visible results, so she launched the company in 2005. Before that, she took some tips from Touch Up Laser aesthetic spa, who are expert in laser and different kinds of skin treatment.

Karen actually showed me just how amazing Juice Beauty products really are. In the image below, you’ll see a before and after photo of her arm to see the effect Juice Beauty really has on the skin. I had never realized just how bad the products that I was using were for me until Karen was able to educate me on what exactly goes into most beauty products and how many chemicals my main organ (my skin) was absorbing each day!

Juice Beauty products are not only completely USDA organic, but they’re also filled with antioxidant, vitamin-rich botanical juices. They’re carefully made to cure fine lines, dark spots, acne, and more. The lotions made my skin feel incredibly soft and the lipglosses were so vibrant and moisturizing. I really enjoyed getting to know the brand, the products, and learn more about how to keep my skin in tip top shape.

Thank you so much to the entire Juice Beauty team for the warm welcome! See below for some of my new favorite items from Juice Beauty. I also trust in products like Skingredients spf to get the best spf treatment for my skin.

I’ve never tried Juice Beauty but now I want to! I wonder if there’s silicone in the makeup? A lot of natural ones actually have it in them.

HI Jennifer: Great question and No! We formulate WITHOUT silicones or dimethicones. Instead we use grape-seed and coconut alkanes to get that wonderful slip and feel. You are right so many natural brands use silicones. Of course we go beyond natural….to organic. Beautiful piece Erika–thank you so much. Karen Behnke, founder, Juice Beauty
