Fall Picnic with Laguna Ranch Chardonnay

I’ll be the first to admit that Mark and I were recently due for a much-needed date night. That said, I decided to plan one that was focused on fall – think crisp autumn air, fall-ready outfits, and a cozy outdoor picnic. And as most of you already know, most of my date nights include some sort of wine, But when it came to planning a nice picnic for Mark and I, I knew Laguna Ranch Chardonnay was a necessary component.

Laguna Ranch Chardonnay not only tastes absolutely amazing, but the history behind it is pretty cool, too. Laguna Ranch was originally a vineyard that was planted in the 1800s; when prohibition hit, the vineyard was repurposed into a luscious Gravenstein apple orchard. 30 years later, the orchard was turned right back into its original planted fruit – chardonnay grapes! The region of this land is the perfect place to grow this fruit – especially because of the deliciously fresh apple flavors that you can actually taste with each sip of chardonnay.

Now here’s the good news: next month, you’ll also be able to enjoy this incredible Chardonnay on E&E’s website. Until then, check the menu at your go-to restaurant to see if it’s on there. Either way, once you try it, I know you’ll love it as much as I do!

Thank you so much to Laguna Ranch Vineyards for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
