Every year since before I was born (38 years to be exact!), my parents, brothers, and sisters have gone to San Francisco on the day before Christmas. And even today with the enormous amount of growth (in-laws, kids, pets!) in our family, this has still remained a tradition.
The kids in the family have grown to absolutely love this tradition and look forward to it every year. San Francisco is such a magical place during the holidays. We love to spend time in Union Square then take a cable car down to Ghirardelli Square and enjoy some of the best chocolate around.
I hope that Austin and all of his cousins plan to carry out this tradition forever because it is honestly one of the most special memories we make throughout the year!
