While it’s always nice to go all out on V-day, this year, Mark and I are planning something different. In lieu of our typical date night, we’re opting to stay in, cook a nice dinner, and keep things simple. With that said, for this week’s Monday Must-Haves, I’m sharing what’s on the menu for our night at home!

I’ll be the first to admit that cheese is a major weakness of mine. These tasty apps are the perfect mix of sweet and savory (my favorite way to start a meal!).
Main Course: Caprese Grilled Chicken via Cooking Classy
Healthy and tasty, this recipe is a go-to at the Altes house. It’s perfectly filling, but not overpowering, which is perfect for a date-night meal.
Dessert: DIY Heart Cheesecake via Lauren Conrad
I’m a major fan of cheesecake…but throw some pretty hearts on top and I’m an all-out fanatic. This recipe is hands-down one of the best I’ve tried…plus, you can make it ahead of time so you’re not scrambling on the day of.
