Home Spotlight

Adding fall decor to your home is a great way to welcome in the season—and it doesn’t require much time or effort to bring a festive feel to your space! Simple additions and swaps can give your home new life, whether you’re rotating out throw pillows or displaying some pumpkins.
- I love having fresh flowers in our house, but sometimes faux varieties are more practical. This hanging berry branch looks so life-like, and it would be pretty to leave out during Thanksgiving and Christmas too!
- These neutral ceramic pumpkins would work seamlessly in any space. Set them on a coffee table, mantel, or in your entryway.
- This hand-painted terracotta vase is so beautiful—another pick that would be perfect in an entryway!
- Swapping out your throw pillows will offer a subtle nod to the shift from summer to fall. I like that this pick incorporates fall colors without feeling too season specific.
- Looking for something small to add to your coffee table? This marble match striker is a cute (and practical) option.
- You all know that I absolutely love to host, which means these plates might just make an appearance at my next dinner party.
- Use these eye-catching gold bowls for serving, displaying, or as an extra spot to stash cocktail garnishes while entertaining. Classy, timeless, and so fun!
Featured Recipe

It’s officially soup season, and I couldn’t be happier. This hearty recipe is exactly what you’d want to enjoy on a crisp, rainy fall night—flavorful and comforting. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 3 large eggs
- Juice of 2–3 lemons
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt + lots of freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft. Add the garlic and cook for another 30–60 seconds.
- Add the chicken broth, onion powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the rice and simmer for about 15–18 minutes, or until tender.
- Stir in the shredded chicken and allow it to warm through for about 5 minutes.
- Turn the heat to low so the soup is no longer boiling. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and juice of 2 lemons until completely smooth and slightly frothy.
- While constantly whisking the egg mixture, very slowly drizzle in about 1½–2 cups of the hot broth. This tempers the eggs and prevents them from scrambling.
- Slowly pour the egg-lemon mixture back into the soup while stirring. Keep the soup over low heat for 2–3 minutes, making sure it doesn’t boil. The broth will become beautifully silky and creamy without any cream.
- Stir in the dill and parsley. Taste and add the juice of the third lemon if you’d like it extra lemony.
- Finish with additional salt and plenty of freshly cracked black pepper.
Finds I’m Loving

A few little delights—things I own and love or have been eyeing lately. From everyday essentials to small splurges, just the kind of pieces that make day-to-day feel a bit more special.
- Summer might be over, but that doesn’t mean you can skip out on daily sunscreen. This tinted moisturizer is a go-to in my makeup routine. It’s lightweight, breathable, and it’s formulated with SPF 45.
- I am all for a trench coat during the autumn months and this one has such a classic look (and it’s a great price!)
- I’ve been seeing the beaded necklace trend a lot lately and think it’s super cute. Wear this find on your next girls night out for a unique statement.
- These mocha suede sneakers are always so popular every fall (they typically sell out!) Wear them to a football game, while running errands, or on travel days.
- This is hands-down the best vanilla syrup to add to your morning cup of coffee or your evening cocktail. It would also make for a thoughtful hostess gift this season!
- Not to jump too far ahead, but how pretty would these sparkly earrings look with a black dress during the holidays?
- Spread a bit of this bourbon apple butter on a slice or toast or an English muffin for a quick and easy seasonal breakfast idea.
- I love that this striped triangle scarf could easily be draped over your shoulders. It looks like a good option to bring along when you’re traveling as well!
