If there’s one thing I need each morning before my day really gets started, it’s coffee. I feel like I can’t fully function until I’ve had my first few sips and I know a lot of you (especially those with kids!) probably feel the same way. Honestly, I wish I could enjoy a cup from bed on the regular. Who else is with me?!
Whenever I post photos of our kitchen people always seem to take note of our coffee station. I will admit that it’s quite the set-up. I love having a dedicated space for all my morning essentials and think it makes our kitchen feel so inviting and cozy.
Even if you don’t have a ton of counter or drawer space to work with, you can still set out some cute items that will allow your coffee making experience to feel more special. I also think having a DIY coffee station is a major perk for guests — they can help themselves to whatever they need without feeling like they’re making things a hassle for the host.
DIY Coffee Station Must-Haves
Espresso Machine
Let me start out by saying that yes, this espresso machine is a major investment, but I also happen to think it’s worth the high price point. We use this machine to make our coffee every single day and it always turns out soooo well.
You can make everything from a basic drip coffee to a specialty latte in this machine. And if this tells you anything, we rarely go out for coffee because we think it tastes better when we make it at home.
Espresso Spoons
I keep these cute little espresso spoons in the drawer underneath my coffee maker. They’re perfect for stirring milk, sugar, or any syrup into your drink. Plus, you get six of them for $12!
Spice Jars
I know I’m not the only one who loves when their spices are perfectly organized — it just makes cooking so much more enjoyable. This spice jar set comes with labels so you can easily tell each one apart. I have cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla in my coffee drawer at all times.
Stoneware Mug Set
I found these coffee mugs at Target quite some time ago and was surprised to see that they’re still available! I love that they’re neutral enough to go with everything and I also like that they’re big.
Stoneware Sugar Cellar
I set this sugar jar on my open shelving and think it adds such a fun touch to our coffee station. It’s practical to have nearby and doubles up as decor — a win-win!
F-Bomb Mug
I swear this coffee mug was made for me. It makes me laugh every morning and would be a perfect gift for any of your friends who love the F word as much as I do.
