When it comes to 4th of July, I love nothing more than getting dressed up in red white and blue. We typically do a big family BBQ then watch fireworks near our house, so I always opt for pieces that are fun and playful, but also comfortable and functional, too.
Here are the patriotic pieces I’m planning to rock for 4th of July this year.
1. Eva Swimsuit
I’ve always loved this brand for super-chic swim looks. I love this red white and blue bikini for more reasons than the obvious. It’s so flattering and looks amazing with high-waisted vintage denim (my favorite shorts are below, btw!).
2. White Tie-Front Shirt
Love this top styled with shorts and layered over a red white and blue bikini! BONUS: it’s on sale.
3. Distressed High-Waisted Short
If you’re on the hunt for the perfect high-waisted denim shorts, this is the pair you need now. AGOLDE does denim right – their distressed vintage wash is my favorite.
4. GRLFRND Macie Dress
If you’re not into shorts, this is a perfect dress to pair with a fun bandana, some sneakers, and a bold red lip.
5. Twiggy Sunglasses
Obsessed with this round silhouette – and the color is perfect for 4th of July BBQs and beyond.
6. Stars Sweatshirt
SUNDRY makes the perfect cozy sweats, which is why I purchased this essential to style over my suit as the day cools down. I plan to slip this on right before the fireworks go off! The best part? I know I’ll wear this year-round.
7. Star Hair Clips
Hair clips are having a major moment right now, and I’m obsessed with these budget-friendly star clips! They’re the perfect way to give hair a festive touch whether it’s down in loose curls or up in a high pony.
8. Clare V. Apolline Bag
This handwoven bag comes with a black cotton shoulder strap, which makes it even more versatile. I love it with denim shorts and a basic tee or swimsuit. It’s perfect for long summer days!
9. Classic California Star Sneakers
These are on the pricey side, but to me, they’re worth the splurge! Besides being perfectly festive for the 4th, I would totally wear these with distressed jeans, dresses, skirts, and way beyond. They’re definite outfit-makers.
10. Caitlin Nicole Jewelry Single Star Necklace
Love this dainty charm with any simple summer look. The adjustable chain makes it ideal for layering, too.
