Hat: old but this one from Nordstrom is adorable and under $40! / Top: For Love and Lemons, budget friendly option that is on sale for under $10 at H&M / Vest: Old but similar and on sale at Shop Bop / Denim: Free People / Shoes: old but similar here / Bag: Old but similar here

When it comes to fashion, my rule of thumb is to stick with what’s real. However, when it comes to fur, I always fake it. Why, you ask? It’s simple – with so many ah-mazing iterations out there, faux fur is looking more real than ever, allowing those of us who love the look to rock it – sans the guilt.

Here, I styled my trusty fur vest over this beautiful For Love & Lemons top (obsessed with the pretty lace detailing!) and some Free People bell bottom jeans. While bell bottoms are extremely leg lengthening, throwing a high heel into the mix makes them even better – which is why I paired these with a vintage-inspired heel. Finally, I completed the look with a floppy hat and neutral bag. It’s what I like to call modern day hippie chic!
