‘Tis the season for holiday get togethers, family dinners, and more time spent at home. There’s a lot to look forward to during this time of year, and decorating for Christmas is one specific element I love about this season. It’s so much fun to pull out my decor year after year as well as source a few new things that I come across.
Regardless of your holiday plans, there’s no denying that Christmas decorations can add a majorly cheerful touch to your home. From lush wreaths hung on the front door to pretty garlands along your mantel, you can really transform the look of your space during this season.
If you’re in need of some inspo or if you simply want to add to your collection, I’m rounding up some of my favorite holiday decor ideas below. Keep in mind that seasonal products tend to sell fast, so if you see something you like, snag it while you still can!
Holiday Home Decor Ideas
Pine Berry Wreath
There’s nothing that sets the tone for the holidays quite like a warm welcome. You don’t have to deck out your front porch to make an impact — adding this simple wreath to your door will do the trick!
Sled Doormat
An under $30 find? Sign me up! This cheerful doormat will be so much fun to pull out each season.
Mixed Berry Garland
Not all garland is created equal, but I personally don’t think you have to spend a lot to get a pretty end result. This Target find is a new fave of mine!
Crystal Leaves Light-Up Trees
Add a twinkly touch to your entryway table, kitchen counter, or nightstand with these light-up trees.
Christmas in the Country Appetizer Plates
There’s something really special about having dedicated dinnerware for the holidays. These plates are festive yet not too over-the-top. They’d make for a really thoughtful hostess gift (that someone will cherish for years to come.)
Gingerbread Village House
Place one of these on your coffee table or line a few of them up along your mantel. I love that they come in various shapes and sizes!
Embroidered Table Runner
This runner will offer the perfect pop of pattern to your holiday table. Just add some napkins and placemats for the finishing touch.
Golden Bells Garland
Holiday neutrals are my jam, and this simple bell garland recently caught my eye. How cute would it look along a staircase?!
Rio Bronze Taper Candleholder
Mixing holiday-specific decor with more classic pieces will leave your home with a well-balanced look. These candlesticks have a wintery feel yet they’re streamlined enough to be left out year-round.
Fresh Pepperberry Wreath
The addition of dainty berries to this wreath makes it a total stunner. It’s unique and eye-catching yet traditional at the same time.
Christmas in the Country Serving Platter
Treat yourself to a new platter to display, or gift it to whoever is cooking you a holiday meal this season. This one would be so fun to pass down to future generations.
Tatum Wine Stem Glasses
Fancy up your bar car with some new glassware. These come as a set of two (again, perfect for gifting!)
Rustic Forest Bedding
The bedroom often gets left out of the fun when it comes to seasonal decorating. Spruce things up a bit with these winter-inspired shams. They’d pair well with simple white bedding!
Christmas Tree Sled Embroidered Pillow
Switching out your throw pillows is a simple yet impactful way to pay tribute to a new season. This embroidered pick strikes a good balance between festive and neutral.
Santa Claus Ceramic Mugs
Looking for a small way to incorporate seasonal touches? Reach for Christmas mugs rather than your everyday pick. Stack them near your Nespresso machine or set up a little coffee station for the winter months.
The Polar Express Doormat
If you have little ones at home, this doormat is sure to be a big hit. Because it’s not too Christmas-y you could leave it out through January!
Red Velvet Bows
If there’s one thing I’ve learned through years and years of decorating for the holidays, it’s that you can never have too many bows. Add these cuties to wreaths, candlesticks, wine glasses, garlands, etc.
Nostalgic Santa Percale Sheet Set
Go all in on the festivities with this jolly sheet set. These would be so cute to incorporate into a kids room or even a guest space!
Dalton Check Linen Napkins
These checkered napkins would work for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. They also come in green if you prefer a pop of color!
Candy Cane Icon Drinking Glasses
Pottery Barn comes out with a new version of these icon glasses each season (and they always sell out!) This candy cane design is so much fun. They’re also available in a gingerbread man print — ideal for using as your kids indulge in some milk and cookies.
