Birkenstocks have been a go-to shoe choice for years now, and to no surprise, they’re still just as trendy as they once were. These sandals have become a staple in my wardrobe, and with summer sneaking up on us, I started dreaming up ideas on what to wear with Birkenstocks. Plus, when I shared this pair, you guys were equally as excited about them.

How to Style Birkenstocks
Maxi Dress With Birkenstocks
First up on my list of Birkenstock outfit ideas is this maxi dress with an oversized white denim jacket layered over for those cooler evenings. I personally love the single strap Birkenstocks with a dress – for some reason they just feel a tad more feminine than the classic Birkenstocks (which I still do love too!).
Accessorize with this adorable straw bucket hat and a pair of tortoise sunglasses to complete your look. You guys know how much I love a good maxi dress so this combination of pieces will be such a go-to outfit for the summer.
Jumpsuit With Birkenstocks
One of my favorite lazy girl outfits is a good old jumpsuit. Sometimes it’s just so nice to not have to even think too much about what you’re going to wear for the day, and a jumpsuit totally provides that.
Pair your Birkenstocks with a jumpsuit for a streamlined and casual look that’s perfect for any occasion. You can throw on a denim bomber jacket for extra warmth and accessorize with a trucker hat and a crossbody bag before heading out. This is another look I guarantee you’ll be repeating over and over again.
Sweater Set With Birkenstocks
Speaking of not wanting to have to think too much when getting dressed, this sweater set is such a good staple to have in your closet. The number of times I’ve reached for this duo is slightly embarrassing, but it’s honestly just practical.
I really love this look paired with the Boston-style Birkenstocks. Adding some varsity striped socks with these would be so cute (not to mention comfy, too). Throw on a classic pair of sunglasses and this dreamy leather fanny bag for the ideal on-the-go outfit.
Mini Skirt With Birkenstocks
For a more feminine look, I’ve been loving the combo of Birkenstocks paired with short skirts. I’d style this white mini skirt with these brown single strap Birkenstocks. Throw on a timeless striped sweater, like this navy and white one, and then add some finishing touches with a white hair bow and some classic gold huggie earrings. This look could not scream summer any more and I am obsessed.
Straight Leg Jeans with Birkenstocks
I had to create at least one straight leg denim look paired with Birkenstocks because this is a combo I am constantly reaching for. Keeping it simple with a pair of loose fitting jeans and a high quality white button down is never a bad idea.
If you’re looking to add a little bit of flare at a reasonable price, I love this gold chain necklace and these fun aviator style sunglasses. If jeans are a bit too warm for the summer where you live, these cutoff denim shorts or these brown paperbag shorts would also be cute styled with the brown suede Birkenstocks.
Short Romper with Birkenstocks
Another go-to for me are rompers; they’re just as easy to throw on as a dress and are equally as comfortable. I love the idea of styling this zip-front romper with the cream Birkenstocks for a monochromatic look. Craving a pop of color? Slip this washed green quilted bomber jacket over the romper. You could also layer on a denim shirt for a lighter weight option on warmer days.
