Baseball has always been close to my heart (my brother is the hitting coach for the Seattle Mariners!) and I’m so thrilled that the season is underway again. If you’re like me and you love to spend a day at the ballpark with your family, then this round-up of baseball game outfits is perfect for you.
All of these ideas are comfy, practical, cute, and easy to rewear on an everyday basis. So many of these picks are in constant rotation for me (especially on busy mom days) and I consider them all to be staples in my closet.
If you need some help figuring out what to wear to a baseball game, look no further! Here are a handful of practical and cute outfit choices…
Baseball Game Outfits
1. Leggings, Sneakers, and a Denim Jacket
Take me out to the ballgame in this adorable outfit and I’ll be comfortable all day long. I love how the stripes on these leggings really make them the focal point of the outfit while the neutral color keeps them versatile enough to style in so many ways. Plus, these sneakers are perfect for walking around the ballpark, or for when the excitement of the game brings you to your feet!
Add a denim jacket or cardigan if you’re heading to a night game (or if you’re dressing for transitional seasons.)
2. A Colorful Jumpsuit, Baseball Hat, and Converse
There’s nothing better than a cute and comfortable outfit that requires minimal effort, which is why I love this jumpsuit. You’ll always look put together in a one-piece outfit like this, and pairing it with these classic Converse and a cute baseball hat is a no brainer for the ballpark.
3. Denim Shorts, a Cropped Jacket, and a Tote Bag
Looking for a simple yet cute look? Pair a classic white tank with some denim shorts (I’ve been loving these from Agolde).
Don’t forget to bring something to keep warm—the cropped cut of this jacket hits right at the hip, making it a great addition for layering. For the finishing touch, bring your favorite tote bag to hold all of your game day essentials.
4. An Oversized Button Down Shirt, Bodysuit, and Sandals
Ever since these bodysuits came into style, I couldn’t help but work them into my outfit rotation. They’re perfect for staying comfortable while still looking put together. Pair one with this oversized button down shirt and your favorite sandals (I personally love Birkenstocks!)
5. A Colorful Crewneck, Biker Shorts and Sandals
When feeling snug is your top priority, opt for a cute pair of biker shorts, like these, and a soft crewneck. Even if you’re cheering from the stands (with a beer in hand), you’ll stay just as cozy as you would at home. Oh, and a major perk to this outfit is that you likely have these pieces in your closet already.
6. A Comfy Zip Up and Leggings
For cold or rainy days at the ballpark, I’ve got you covered. This sleek all-black look combines cozy vibes with a chic finish. These leggings have been one of my long-standing go-to’s and are a major staple in my closet. And trust me, the overall baseball watching experience is so much more enjoyable when you’re warm and comfortable in the stands.
7. A Sun Dress and White Sneakers
This sun dress is perfect for those mid-summer daytime games that roll into the evening. Comfortable enough to wear all day, but cute enough to wear to dinner or drinks after the game is over. Pair it with some white sneakers and your favorite sunglasses for the perfect ballpark outfit.
8. An Athletic Dress, Sneakers, and a Trucker Hat
For those hot summer days when you just can’t stand to bear long pants or a tight top, opt for a breezy athletic dress. This one from Free People has been really popular lately, and paired with some comfortable sneakers, a belt bag, and a trucker hat, you’re sure to stay comfortable and cool.
