Can you believe that Easter is just around the corner? Whether you’re hosting family and friends or you plan on drinking mimosas in pajamas all day (you’re my kind of gal), every holiday requires some tasty snacks.
I made this recipe last year and it is truly the easiest, and might I add, cutest Easter appetizer. My friend @thepiperbrownshowroom posted this Easter carrot cheese ball and gave me permission to share it with all of you!
It’s quick to make, doesn’t require a lot of ingredients, and it’s just as delicious as it is festive. Bonus: It doubles up as a centerpiece and holiday decor—a win-win!
Easter Carrot Cheese Ball
Ingredients
- 16 oz cream cheese (room temp), blend with mixer until smooth
- 2 cups shredded cheese (I used sharp cheddar)
- 1 bunch green onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 cup nuts, chopped (I used pecans)
- Dash hot sauce (I used Franks because that sh*t is good on everything!)
- Dash Worcestershire
- Any seasoning you like (I used onion powder, pepper, and salt)
- Cilantro and tulips for garnish
Instructions
- Mix it all up.
- Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper.
- Use another piece of parchment paper to get the right shape.
- Press more shredded cheese on top.
- Transfer to a platter with a spatula or flat edge scraper.
- Let set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Set cilantro and tulips behind the cheese ball to pretty it up.
- Place your favorite crackers around the platter and serve!
