Not sure what to make for dinner and short on time? I’ve been there many times, and that’s exactly when I turn to sheet pan meals. They’re easy to throw together, have a ton of flavor, and don’t require much clean up at the end of the night—three major wins in my book.
This sausage sheet pan recipe is a year-round favorite in our house. Mark and I love it just as much as the kids do. It’s satisfying, filling, and yes, extremely simple to make. Trust me, you’ll be hooked too!
Sausage Sheet Pan Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
- Cabbage, sliced in wedges
- Carrots, chopped in 2-3 inch chunks
- Small yellow potatoes
- Kielbasa sausage
(I love the organic sausage from Costco because it has so much flavor!) - Optional: any other veggies you like roasted
Topping Ideas
- Dijon or grainy mustard
- Crumbled goat cheese
- Sauerkraut
Instructions
- Put veggies and sausage on one pan (you can also cook the potatoes separately because sometimes they take a little longer.)
- Toss everything in avocado or olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and onion powder.
- Roast at 400° until you can pierce the carrots with a fork—this should take roughly 20 minutes.
- Slice the sausage then add that and the roasted veggies to a bowl.
- Top with crumbled goat cheese, sauerkraut, and mustard.
