I know pico de Gallo is one of those items most people just buy when they’re at the grocery store, but hear me out. It’s so incredibly easy to whip up your own, and it doesn’t take much time or many ingredients. The payback is a more fresh (aka flavorful) salsa, and it’s soooo worth it.
Just follow the recipe below and serve this dip with chips! This is the perfect appetizer to make if you’re hosting family or friends. Oh, and it also goes great with my margarita recipe. Enjoy!
Pico de Gallo Recipe
Ingredients
- 4-5 Roma tomatoes, diced (use a very sharp knife or serrated knife to help)
- 1 bunch fresh organic cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 of a white onion, diced
- 4 limes, juiced to taste
- Salt, pepper, onion powder to taste
- Optional: if you want heat, add in a diced jalapeño
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients together and serve with chips—so easy!
